Drone activity is tightly regulated by the Irish Aviation Authority and permits to fly are required in controlled airspace.  In the case of Class C airspace within the CTZ, a 14 day waiting period can be expected as Air Traffic Control conduct their hazard assessment.  If your location falls in military airspace, a minimum of 48 hrs notice is required. Please inform AFI of location in plenty of time to submit application to appropriate body. Secondary ground location permits may still be required by the production company from the relevant governing body (eg. Mountain Rangers or The Office OF Public Works) if it is a public space.
